Well, I am really pleased with life! I’ve had a bit of a facelift.

The consultant advised me against taking drastic measures ,which I couldn’t afford anyway.  She told me to accept the blemishes that come with advanced age,  forget about keeping up with fashion and just go for a subtle change. So, I did. Rooms 2, 3 and 5 are the first to benefit, with lovely paint colours from Farrow and Ball!

  The menu has also had a  makeover and the new Brasserie a la carte menu will now be served at lunch and dinner all week, Mondays to Saturdays, with the addition of the chef’s choice of a set lunch menu at our customers’ request. Take a look at it under Menus.

The all new wine list started yesterday and we hope you will all enjoy it. Come and take a look. Try a different wine by the glass..

Book early for a superb Valentine’s dinner in our candlelit dining room on either Saturday 13th or Sunday 14th February. Table bookings are available from 7pm onwards. On both nights Frankly Jazz will be playing a selection of love songs in the bar. The deliciously special three course dinner with  coffee and chocolates to follow  is £45 per person and includes a gift for your partner. Please book soon so you (and especially your partner! )are not disappointed. On Sunday evening the bedrooms will be offered at a special rate of £80 per double room per night, including breakfast, so that you can enjoy the Old Deanery instead of taking a taxi home.
