Just at the top of the oak staircase, Room 1 is a pleasant room on the first floor overlooking the Cathedral with a relaxed air about it and an ensuite shower room. Five ft wide bed. £125 per room per night with breakfast for 2 people.
Room 2 is on the right at the top of the oak staircase on the first floor. It is a large room with a modern four poster king size bed and a large window with a view over the garden. The bathroom has a Victorian style bath with shower over: £155 per room per night with breakfast for 2 people. Has room for two put u up beds for children up to 12yrs at £20 per bed per night with breakfast.
Room 3 faces the Cathedral, as either a super king or a twin, and has a bathroom with a shower over. The wardrobes are built in, but some hundreds of years ago! It is a light, airy and calm room: £135 per room per night with breakfast for 2 people.
Room 4 overlooks the garden with a king size bed and 2 large windows. The bathroom has a Victorian style bath and a shower over. This room is very quiet because it has a double door system. £135 per room per night with breakfast for 2 people.
Actually can take 2 x put u up beds for children up to 12yrs old at £20pp including breakfast.
Room 5 is a quirky four poster with a very large metal scrollwork bed. The Cathedral view is magnificent from the large bay windows. From March 2012 it will also include a sofa bed for two. There is a bath with shower over in the ensuite. £155 per room per night with breakfast for 2 people.

Room 6 is the last room on the first floor,with double bed, painted Jacobean panelling to one wall, a high ceiling with garden view. It has an ensuite shower room : £125 per room per night with breakfast for 2 people.
Rooms 7 and 9 are on the second floor up the new staircase added to the building in 2002.
Room 7 is a standard room with beamed sloping ceilings, a 160cm wide bed, a window overlooking the Cathedral, and an ensuite shower room: £125 per room per night with breakfast for 2 people. There is room for 1 x put u up bed at £20 for a child up to 12yrs old inc. breakfast.
Room 9 is a superior room along the apex of the roof, with a king size bed, sloping beamed ceilings and a window overlooking the cathedral. There is a double sofa bed for 2 children up to 12yrs old at £20pp inc breakfast. One adult or one child at £30. The large shower room has a window to the front and one to the rear. £135 per room per night with breakfast for 2 people.
At the top of the fairly steep stairs leading off to the left of the oak staircase, you will find Room 10 opposite room 11 (these two rooms are the only 2 at the top of these stairs and can therefore make a useful pairing for friends or a family). Room 10 is a standard room, with double bed, sloping beamed ceilings and ensuite shower room. It has a window overlooking the garden. £125 per room per night with breakfast for 2 people.
Room 11 is a triple room with a double bed and a single.[It can also take a put u up if necessary at £20 b and b for a child up to 12 years of age but it is quite tight!.] It has beamed sloping ceilings and a window overlooking the Cathedral. £135 per room per night with breakfast for 2 people or £155 if for three.
